Donate to Kerala
The floods in Kerala has shocked the Indian subcontinent and the world claiming the lives of 324 people and ravaging property worth 20 thousand crores as of reports on the 17th of this month. The situation is dire and in spite of government help and relief measures, there are a lot of people still in the need of help and assistance. I think that be donating this small amount, we will make the lives of those, some of whom have lost everything easier. It is saddening for me as an individual to see how the media has underplayed an event of this magnitude and has chosen to focus on mindless entertainment news. This must not deter us but strengthen our resolve. Therefore I urge you to donate this small amount for the cause. It is a part of the initiative by my school the Shiv Nadar University. The videos chronicling this flood are nothing short of horrifying and one would highly appreciate if if you did your small bit to help your fellow people. sincerely, thehumblehumanist.
